Cimab is a spin-off company specialized in infertility, located at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. Cimab offers a highly personalized service in diagnosing infertility, through intense basic and clinical research. We are particularly proud of our CometFertility™ assay that allows us to distinguish single strand DNA breaks from double strand DNA breaks.

We are currently investigating the following topics:

- Effect of cryopreservation on DNA integrity of sperm cells

- Modulation of telomere length before and during fertilization

- Development of DNA-repairing media for sperm cells
